These are grammar based, easy reading, short stories , with a Q&A.
Every question must be answered in a sentence. Otherwise you can’t go.
Sometimes the questionnaire is a teacher, sometimes a game show host and sometimes an English barrister.
There is a unique phonetic guide to help when phrasing.

Speak in Sentences is a series of short stories of about 100 words followed by a theatrical dialogue of about 100 words.
The dialogue is a Q&A so can be 2 player.
Book 1 contains 9 stories.
Towards the end is an appendix on spelling simple vowel sounds.

Book 2 picks up the tempo. You still have to answer in a sentence.
For two candies what colour in grass?
Book 3 gets a bit more serious. You played I spy with my little eye and now you are in court for spying.
”Please, could you tell the court, which room were you spying in?”
In Book 4 the stories spill out into more than one page. Every four year the insects hold the insect world cup. Somewhere in Book 4 is the story of the 1954 Insect World Cup Final and the greatest goal ever scored in the history of Insects.
